Hi, I'm Holly!
I'm the photographer behind Holly J Greenup Photography LLC! I've been photographing babies, kids, and families in the Columbia, Missouri area since 2012, and I truly love getting to document so many important seasons of life: from growing baby bumps and brand-new newborns to first birthdays, growing families, and everything in between.

I graduated from Columbia College in 2013 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design and Photography. Photography has been a huge part of my life for years, and I love creating images that families can look back on long after their babies aren't babies anymore. As a mom myself, I know just how quickly those little stages seem to disappear!

I'm married to my husband, Gabe, and we have two boys, Leo and Vince, whom you've probably seen modeling plenty of my backdrops and session ideas over the years! Being a mom has also given me plenty of firsthand experience working with babies and kids of all ages. I know that kids don't always want to sit still, look at the camera, or smile on command, and that's okay! My goal is to make your session as easy and relaxed as possible while still capturing photos you'll love.

A little more about me...
My Christian faith is a big part of who I am. I love Jesus, and I enjoy studying the Bible and continuing to grow in my faith.

When I'm not photographing or editing, I love spending time with Gabe and our boys, being outside, swimming, drawing and painting, and planning and decorating parties. I love anything that gives me a chance to be creative—which is probably one of the reasons photography has always been such a great fit for me!

And I can't forget Ali, our 17-year-old cat who has been part of our family for a very long time. ❤️

My Studio
My studio gives me a comfortable indoor space where I can photograph newborns, babies, children, maternity sessions, cake smashes, families, and more. I have a huge collection of props and backdrops, which means we can create a session that fits your family and the look you're hoping for.

I also offer outdoor sessions throughout the Columbia area, including seasonal mini sessions at different times of the year. Whether you prefer the clean, controlled look of the studio or beautiful outdoor light, we can find an option that works for you.

Experience You Can Feel Comfortable With
I've spent years photographing newborns, babies, children, and families, and safety is especially important to me during newborn sessions. I want parents to be able to relax and enjoy the experience while I create beautiful images of their newest little family member.

One of my favorite parts of this job is getting to see the same families again and again. I might first meet you for maternity photos, then photograph your newborn, watch that baby grow through milestone sessions, celebrate a first birthday, and continue photographing your family as the years go by.

Those relationships are one of the biggest reasons I love what I do.
